The Yawen High-Speed Railway is the first landmark project of China's high-speed rail system going global, featuring the full-scale, all-element and entire industrial chain of China's high-speed rail technology. It connects the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta, with the tourist city of Bandung, with a total length of 142.3 kilometers. The designed speed is 350 kilometers per hour, and the bridge-to-tunnel ratio is 76%. It includes 13 tunnels, 56 bridges and 26 key control projects with significant difficulties. As the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia, its construction needs to overcome complex conditions such as volcanic geology, high-intensity seismic zones, and hot and humid climate, and imposes strict requirements on the reliability and durability of the steel bar connection system.
Golisier provides the Yawmawan High-Speed Railway with wire processing equipment such as thread rolling machines and high-strength straight thread sleeves. The compressive strength reaches 650 MPa (far exceeding the local standard of 500 MPa), and the fatigue resistance has passed a 2 million cycle test. These products meet the seismic and deformation resistance requirements for key parts such as high-speed railway bridges and tunnels. The products are made of 45# high-quality carbon steel and are compatible with all specifications of Φ14 - Φ50 reinforcing bars, covering core scenarios such as box girder erection and tunnel lining.
With its high-performance products and the full-process technical service model, Goliath successfully overcame the complex geological challenges of the Yaliwan High-Speed Railway. Its sleeve connection system has become the "invisible framework" ensuring the safe operation of the high-speed railway. This project has verified the international competitiveness of Chinese building materials enterprises and provided a sustainable solution for the infrastructure upgrade in Southeast Asia. In the future, Goliath will continue to adopt the "product + service + standard" tripartite model to assist more "Belt and Road Initiative" projects to take root and thrive.
